These events are the backdrop of a love line between a local girl and the main character.
The World’s Fastest Indian (2005)
It's a movie about real love for a motorcycle. This is a story of Burt Munro who was obsessed (in a good way) with an idea of making his old Indian the fastest bike. He spends all his time to modernize the motorcycle. In 1920, when the bike was released, its top speed was 58 miles per hour. After all the work, the Indian was able to reach two hundred miles per hour. In 1967, Burt Munro even managed to win a race on his motorcycle and set the world’s speed record.
The Leather Boys (1964)
Although this film was once forbidden in the USA, it managed to become iconic for rockers, bikers, and people who can't imagine their lives without cool leather jackets and silver jewelry. The movie tells two stories. The first one is about the relationship of a young biker Reggie with his girlfriend, and later wife, Dot.
Dot, who got married too early, is not ready for ad adult life and all the problems it brings. This fact gives rise to a lot of misunderstandings between the lovers. The second storyline is Reggie's relationship with his friend Pete, who is also a zealous biker. How will their relationship develop when Reggie learns that Pete is gay?
Hells Angels on Wheels (1967)
The film’s protagonist is a former biker who returns home after the war in Vietnam. He dreams of reviving his old bike club. However, when he was away, the club got another leader and began to obey the new sheriff of the town. The main character, a rebel by nature, does not like such a state of things. He sets a goal to reorganize the club and arrange a grandiose ride across the country.
The Cycle Savages (1969)
The story unfolds around a group of bikers who keep a small town in fear. These guys make a living by capturing local beauties and selling them as slaves. The plot’s key moment is a scene of a robbery in a local cafe. The bikers’ leader notices an artist who draws their portraits. He is scared that these drawings will help the police to track them down. He makes a decision to break the artist's hands so that he can never paint again.
Motorcycle Gang (1994)
A family of three, mom, dad and their sixteen-year-old daughter, move from Texas to California by car. On their way, they meet a motorcycle gang. The gang leader falls in love with the young girl. He kidnaps the daughter and takes her to Mexico. The police refuse to help the family so the father, a former military, decides to take justice into his own hands.
Girl on a Motorcycle (1968)
This film is an internal dialogue of a woman who has become entangled in her feelings and relationships. One day the main character, Rebecca, understands that she can no longer stay with her husband and decides to leave him. Her lover just gave her a brand new "Harley" so Rebecca puts on her leather jacket and goes for a ride. The whole trip of the girl is an attempt to understand who she is and what is happening in her life.
The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)
This is a road-movie about the early years of Che Guevara. You won’t see any revolutions here. The film shows the personal experience and impressions of what the young men saw during his journeys. This movie is based on the book written by Che Guevara himself.
